DLi at SPIE Photonics West 2019
Joel Coffman2023-10-26T14:53:51+00:00DLi’s Executive Vice President Jorge Moguel attended SPIE Photonics West, from February 4 – February 7, 2019, in San Francisco, California. Photonics West is the world’s largest photonics technologies event, consisting of three conferences and two exhibitions. Jorge had a fantastic time as co-chair for the session “Spectroscopy and Hyperspectral Imaging,” focusing on the latest research involving digital micromirror device (DMD) applications. Both session papers this year involved research for space-based DMD applications, exploring the effects of gamma radiation on DMDs as well as prototyping a compressive line sensing hyperspectral imaging sensor using a DMD spatial light modulator.
